THE FAULT IN OUR STARS

This book is truly amazing. I vowed that I would never cry because of a book or film, and yet tears were pouring down my face at the saddest moments. I'm a fourteen year old girl who cannot even start to comprehend what it would be like to go through what those with cancer have to deal with. This book is the only one that has made me cry and truly touched my heart. I hope others find this book - that I finished in less than a day - moving and insightful. I want to say thank you to Johnny Green, the author of this wonderful book, for opening my eyes to things that everybody knows about but ceases to talk about. (I hope that this wasn't too dreary and serious - Gus wouldn't have liked it!
The novel revolves around the life of two teen Hazel & Augustus who have still managed to take the sip of every last bit of life even after standing near the verge of the ending. The world is not a Wish Granting Machine. Perhaps our breath is too short to meet all our prayers, too short to make everyone fall for us. Still, we learn to shape us for things we have, hold the breath for the love we got unconditionally & for the ones we are craving for. Life could be wonderful if one got an hand to hold, eyes to look at & an alluring heart to understand the words that had never been spoken. The book tells us that we are never too late to spend the breathe of ours cherishing the day, the time we have with us whether it could be moving to a new city to meet the lunatic, insane author of the book that had driven you go crazy, having the dinner with the one you always beg for or attending the funeral of yours even when you are alive. Not everything, everyone stays with us for time being we want but it could console us reminds that perhaps there is “THE FAULT IN OUR STARS”.
After hearing that there would be a movie adaptation of the beloved book, I didn’t have high expectations (in my opinion the books are always better than the movie adaption). I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie, the casting choice was superb and the acting was out of this world, they completely embodied the characters that I had read about and loved. Although the film had slightly (and I mean slightly) changed the storyline, the movie was still very true to the book and I couldn’t have imagined the movie to come out better. This film is a real tear-jerker, I found my self sobbing at the end but it wasn’t too heavy (which I personally appreciate). His is a very lovely film to watch with a great soundtrack! It’s an incredible film that captured the essence of the book. This film is definitely in my top 2! Amazing film, 5/5. I’m in love.
Love happens when you least expect it , stays for a long long time, regardless of the atrocities admist the journey.
It is about two young cancer patients (teenagers), who fall in love. Fate has got a twisted game plan, flipping the book upside down. The fight cancer patients put up, the loss their families and loved ones will have to bear, the uncertainty of a loving relationship, the fast paced infinities.
This story has got a beautiful insight to it, it's one of the best books I've read.
Love and respect to all the cancer patients, and their families putting up a brave fight along with them.
I started reading the book 'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green and I met few people who recommended me to Watch the movie after I finish reading the book. And while reading I developed my own imagination of the story line. I watched the movie 'The Fault In Our Stars' and I enjoyed it. I didn't find it as Intense as I had imagined while reading the book but it was quite a heart-warming and very touching film. I got some useful quotes too from this movie and I will always love to watch it again and again. Now here I am listening to the song 'All of the stars by Ed sheeran'. It was a quite good movie. I recommend it highly if you're a imaginative, romantic, fun lover movie watchers. Enjoy!
A very romantic and emotional movie. It "literally" made me cry, and I must tell you that I'm that kind of a person who didn't even cried in his farewell from school after spending 14 years of my life there. This movie just nailed it, it makes me feel how lucky I am to live a normal, healthy life. The actors did really very well. I think people should always thanks God for giving them a normal life.
Never been a sappy hopeless romantic, I knew that love didn't always end happy. But I LOVED this movie. I could feel all the emotions, and seeing as I read the book before I watched the movie, I knew how it would end, But that didn't prepare me enough. I cried so much, still crying. I'd like to say its the best movie I've ever watched, but I know I'll see more, but seeing as I love it now, It is my favorite movie. If you haven't watched it, I seriously do not know what you are waiting for. It's not sad, its realistic, and that's what makes me happy about it.
I like very much movies that make you appreciate your life. This movie is one of those. Seeing how people suffer from cancer and how fatal it is for their life is seeing nothing.
